Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College
Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College

I’m sharing a detailed review of Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, which is under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University ,it is also called the best IP college,I did a lot of research about the college at the time of my counseling, so I got a lot of information about this college, so today I will share this information with you through this video, so please like this video and watch it and before starting the video I have covered all the top colleges of India and in future I will cover the students from all the colleges, so for that please press the subscribe button and also press the notification and write in the comment section which topics you want to see in the upcoming videos, let's start the video, As you can see on your screen, this is the logo of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering. The entry gate is covered with greenery and looks quite shiny and welcoming. once you enter the campus, the atmosphere inside is pleasant , clean, organized, and peaceful..many places nearby for hang out and roaming so we will talk about connectivity now so If you’re from Delhi, there won’t be any transportation issues. The college is well connected via metro and buses Nearest metro station : Paschim Vihar East (very close) Nearest railway station: New Delhi Railway Station (approx. 50 km) nearest airport : Indira Gandhi International Airport (approx. 160 km)

If you check rankings through popular college review apps, you’ll find BVCOE is ranked among the top for engineering in IPU, especially with an overall polytechnic rating of 8.

So last year IP University made a big change in the admission process and instead of the old CET entrance exam now most colleges under IPU including Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering take admissions through JEE Main.

Yes you heard it right now you need a valid JEE score to get in

Bharati Vidyapeeth also clearly mentioned this in an official notice on their website and it clearly says that from no*w on admission will be done through JEE Main counseling

Now this is a good move because it brings more transparency and also helps students who are already preparing for JEE and dont want to give separate exams for each university

Along with the JEE route the college also offers management quota seats. So if you are someone who does not get the desired rank or wants to secure admission without waiting for multiple rounds of counseling then the management quota can be a decent backup option

The process for management quota is quite simple and straightforward. You visit the college pay the required registration amount submit your documents and if you meet the basic eligibility criteria your seat gets confirmed

Now talking about eligibility its very basic. You need to have at least 20 percent aggregate marks in your qualifying exam and you should have passed in English. That’s it. If you meet these two things you are eligible to apply

Now let us talk about what courses are available here

The college offers BTech programs in multiple branches and the best part is that most of these branches are available in both morning and evening shifts which gives you flexibility while choosing Here are the branches you can apply for Computer Science and Engineering , Information Technology , Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering So you have decent variety in terms of engineering options Now let me break down the seat availability for you CSE has 126 seats and is the most in demand ECE has 125 seats but these are for second shift
IT has 120 seats when you combine both morning and evening shifts ICE or Instrumentation and Control has 6 seats only so pretty limited EEE has 60 seats. Now a lot of students ask me which branch should they go for and honestly if you are focused on placements and want to build a career in tech or software then I would say go for CSE That branch gets the best companies during placement season and also has better exposure and more learning opportunities compared to others

Also a small tip here most students prefer morning shift so if you get that during counseling go for it because the morning shift generally has slightly better faculty and reputation

Let us now talk about the cutoff Since admission is through JEE now the cutoffs are released based on JEE Main rank and it differs from branch to branch and shift to shift So last year for CSE, the cutoff was somewhere between 3000 to 5000 ranks depending on the shift The highest cutoff for a shift went up to 2500 rank which means if you scored well in JEE you have a strong chance to get your preferred branch and shift On the other hand branches like ICE and EEE are easier to get into so even with a lower rank you can still get a seat. But remember placement in those branches is not as strong so if you are targeting a good job after graduation try to aim for CSE or IT Also note that shift 1 always has higher cutoff than shift 2 because students generally prefer that for better routine and reputation Alright now coming to the part that everyone waits for – placements So placements here are a bit mixed but CSE and IT definitely have the upper hand If we talk about the 2016 data, the college saw around 133 companies visiting the campus Out of that around 22 percent students got placed. That may sound low but keep in mind this includes all branches even the ones that are not in demand Now if we move to 2017 data, the placement rate improved to around 72.70 percent which is actually decent for a private college under IPU Top companies that hired students includeTCS which took the most number of students Amazon which selected 6 students Airtel Payment Bank Accenture and many others The highest package offered till now is ₹9.3 LPA and that too by the Indian Air Force under a special recruitment drive This shows that opportunities are there if you are skilled and proactive Also one more thing the data mentioned here is for the general category students and taken from the official website so it is reliable CSE and IT branches always get the most offers so once again if your goal is good placement these are the branches to aim for

Now about the hostel facilities and campus life The college has a girls hostel inside the campus which is decent and safe But unfortunately there is no hostel for boys so male students usually stay in nearby PGs or shared flats. The good thing is the area has plenty of options and is well connected by metro and buses so commuting is not a problem The college provides Wi Fi across the campus and the classrooms are air conditioned and equipped with smart boards In terms of sports facilities you get Cricket Football Volleyball Badminton Athletics track
There is also an annual sports meet which is well organized and has decent participation from all branches So if you are into sports and extra activities you will definitely find options here Talking about cultural life the college organizes a big cultural fest called HTC which stands for Horizon The Cultural This fest is one of the main highlights of the year and includes events like dance music fashion drama tech shows and more If you enjoy performing or participating in college events this is a good space to network showcase your talent and have fun So finally let’s talk about money The college issued an official notice where it clearly explained the fee structure

The tuition fee for second year students is around ₹1.30 lakh per year

On top of that there are university and exam fees and some miscellaneous charges like ID card lab manuals internet etc

For hostel students which is only girls in this case there is a separate charge which includes food and stay

Boys need to manage their own accommodation so your expenses may vary depending on where you stay and how much you spend on travel and food

But overall for a private college in Delhi under IPU the expenses are reasonable and manageable

So if you are someone looking to pursue engineering in Delhi and want a college that is under IP University with decent placement records and a clean campus life then Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is definitely worth considering

It may not be IIT level but it provides a balanced experience with good infrastructure okay placements and solid exposure especially if you are in CSE or IT

So that was my complete and detailed review of BVCOE Delhi.

DITM
DITM

 1. About the College

● Established: 2007
● Type: Private engineering college
● Affiliation: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak
● Approved by: AICTE
● Location: Ganaur, Sonipat, Haryana — around 30 km from Delhi

DITM is a small-to-mid-sized engineering college just outside Delhi. It’s not one of those flashy names, but if you’re looking for an engineering degree without burning a hole in your pocket, this one might be worth checking out.

2. Why You Might Choose DITM for Engineering

● Super convenient if you're from Delhi NCR — buses run from major areas
● Offers core branches like CSE, Mechanical, Civil, ECE, and Electrical
● Fees are on the lower side compared to most private colleges in Delhi
● The crowd is mostly from Haryana and nearby cities — student environment is okay
● There’s a functioning placement cell, and you’ll find basic campus amenities like labs, Wi-Fi, library, and hostels
● Final-year students do get some exposure through projects and internships

Is it the top college in the region? No. But for the price, it does the job.

3. Admission Process

➔ JEE Main Route (Haryana State Counseling)
● You need to appear for JEE Main and apply through the HSTES portal (Haryana Technical Admissions)
● Min. eligibility: 45% in PCM (40% for reserved categories)

➔ Lateral Entry (LEET)
● If you have a diploma or a B.Sc., you can apply directly to 2nd year via the LEET route

➔ Direct/Management Quota
● You can also apply directly to the college for some seats — they’ll ask for basic documents and eligibility

4. Courses & Seat Info (Engineering)

They offer lateral entry too (direct to 2nd year) for most branches.

5. Fees (2024–25)

Category

Fee (Approx.)

B.Tech 1st Year

₹1.27 lakh

Total (4 years)

₹3.05 – ₹5.02 lakh

Hostel Fee (optional)

₹60,000/year

If you compare this with Delhi private colleges, it’s much cheaper. Hostel is optional — many students travel daily from nearby areas.

 6. Placements (2024 Batch)

● Highest Package: ₹12.5 LPA (yes, but probably one student from CS)
● Average Package: ₹5–6 LPA (for top-performing CS/ECE students)
● General Placement Rate: Around 80% (claimed by college, actual might be lower)
● Companies that Visit: TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, Bosch, Amazon, a few startups, etc.

Let’s be real — most good offers are for CS students. For other branches, placements are there but not as frequent. You’ll have to put in your own effort (coding, internships, etc.) to stand out.

 7. Campus Life & Facilities
● Hostel: Decent, nothing fancy — gets the job done. Separate for boys and girls.
● Library: Has a good number of books and journals. Also some digital access.
● Labs: Functioning labs for each stream. Don’t expect cutting-edge equipment, but workable.
● Classrooms: Mostly air-cooled; some have projectors.
● Medical: Basic first-aid and doctor-on-call setup.
● Cafeteria: Limited menu — enough for daily meals but don’t expect cafe-level variety.
● Transport: The college runs its own buses — very useful if you're coming from Delhi or nearby towns.
● Wi-Fi: Yes, but speed can vary depending on where you are on campus.

8. Pros & Cons – From Actual Students

Pros:
✔️ Affordable — one of the better options in this fee range
✔️ Easy to reach if you're from Delhi or Sonipat
✔️ College is calm — not too chaotic or overcrowded
✔️ CS/ECE branches get some decent placement support
✔️ No donation-heavy admission processes

Cons:
✖️ Not ranked in national-level lists like NIRF
✖️ Canteen and some hostel/lab areas need better upkeep
✖️ Campus life is quiet — don’t expect the buzz you find at tier-1 colleges
✖️ Placements depend more on your personal skill than the brand name
