KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) Deemed to be University, located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, was founded in 1992 by Dr. Achyuta Samanta received deemed university status in 2004 from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

 Initially started as an Industrial Training Institute, KIIT is offering over 200 programs across 26 schools in fields such as engineering, management, medicine, law, biotechnology, and social sciences
