Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

College Overview

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) is a premier private engineering college located in Janakpuri, New Delhi, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). Established in 2001 in memory of Hindu Jat King Maharaja Surajmal, the institute is AICTE approved, NAAC accredited, and recognized as one of the top private engineering colleges in Delhi NCR.

Despite a modest 8-acre campus, the college consistently delivers outstanding placements, outperforming many NITs in terms of average package, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE.

🧾 Courses Offered (B.Tech Streams)

  • Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

  • Information Technology (IT)

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

All courses are of 4 years duration (Full-Time Undergraduate Engineering Programs).

📝 Eligibility & Admission Process

  • Admission to B.Tech is strictly through the JEE Main exam (via IPU B.Tech counselling).

  • IPU CET is accepted only for lateral entry (2nd year B.Tech admissions).
