About 

Mohanlal Sukhandia University (MLSU), formerly known as Udaipur University is a public state university established in 1962 and located in the Aravalli Hill Area of Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is recognized by UGC, AICTE, and accredited with an 'A+' grade by NAAC. The university has a sprawling campus spanning over 607 acres and includes four constituent colleges along with around 190 affiliated colleges in nearby districts.

MLSU offers more than 100 courses across undergraduate, postgraduate, PG diploma, certificate, and research levels in diverse faculties including Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, Engineering, Law, Education, and Social Sciences. Admission is based on merit or entrance exams conducted by the university. The university emphasizes socio-economic development, women empowerment, and inclusive education with various research and extension activities.

MLSU also provides placement support through a dedicated Training & Placement Centre with reputed companies visiting the campus. Various facilities such as hostels, a health center, sports infrastructure, laboratories, and e-libraries are available for students.
