Who is eligible for UPSC NDA? What is the NDA salary?

UPSC NDA Exam Pattern :

If we talk about the written exam, then the written exam is conducted in two parts, or it has two papers, which are on the same day. The first paper will be in Mathematics, which is normally from 10 to 12:30, then there will be a gap and then there will be GT. The syllabus in Mathematics is for classes 11th and 12th Mathematics, which is required of the child. You will download the syllabus properly. A notification comes in which the syllabus is mentioned, in which you will get all the topics of NCERT for classes 11th and 12th. The level is a little above NCERT, but the syllabus is exactly the same. There is no difference at all. The second paper is called the General Ability Test which we know as GT. It is divided into two portions. The first portion is English. The second portion has a mix of Science and GS. If we talk about Mathematics, then as I have mentioned, the syllabus of classes 11th and 12th, the English in GT is there. There is competitive English, which is not defined by any class. Competitive English means that if you give any competitive exam or government exam, then English is asked in it, which includes grammar, reading and comprehension. If we talk about science, then science is of the ninth and tenth classes, if you read the NCERT of the ninth and tenth classes.

So you will get the same questions from there here. Talking about GK, again it is a competitive GK in which History, Geography, Polity, Current Affairs, Economics etc. are asked. There is no class defined in it as to which class's books you have to read, but in Mathematics, your class is clearly defined. If you talk about the paper pattern of Mathematics, then a total of 120 questions are asked in it. 120 questions, whereas if you talk about GT, then 150 questions are asked in it, out of which 50 are from English, 50 from Science, and 50 from GK. So in this way, if we talk about how to pass in it, there are basically two cut-offs in it. One is the overall cut-off. As I explain, the Mathematics exam is of 300 marks and the JEE exam is of 600 marks, so the total paper is of 900 marks. If we talk about a cut-off, then one cut-off is complete. It will be selected out of 900 marks, which, if we talk about today's date, fluctuates between 300 to 350. There is another cut off, which we call the sectional cut off, that is, you have to pass in Mathematics separately and GT separately and overall you should clear that cut off. If I explain it in a little detail, then in Mathematics, whatever trend is going on, it keeps fluctuating a bit, but you will have to score a minimum of 25 marks, that is, you will have to score 75 out of 300. There is negative marking as well. At 25, you will have to score a minimum of 150 marks, so you will have to score 25 individually. After that, you will also have to clear an overall cut-off. This is all about its paper pattern.

UPSC NDA Eligibility :

Now let's talk about who is eligible. Any child, that is, a child from any stream, whether it is Arts or Science, from Science, Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce, any child is eligible. If a non-medical science student, that is, one who has Physics and Mathematics, he can get all three wings of the Army, Navy, Air Force, but if the child is from any stream other than non-medical, that is, Commerce, Arts or Medical, then he will get only Army seats. Normally, the seats at a time are 400, in which the Army, Navy, Air Force etc. There is a division, the maximum number of seats are in the Army, approximately around 210, both boys and girls are eligible, earlier there were only boys, now girls are also eligible for this, this is a permanent commission, that is, if you are here If you have joined then you will serve till the minimum age of 54 years and obviously for a Grade A officer, there is a little problem with the meaning of age also, when you are filling up the form, at that time your age will be approximately mentioned in the proper notification, the date will come in that notification and then it will be told to you, but if I tell you roughly, when you are filling up the form, at that time your age should be between 15 years to 18 years, the complete NDA process is of one year, when you reach the academy, by that time your age should be between 1630 to 1930, while filling the form it should be this much, on reaching the academy it will automatically come till here, a proper date will come, we will tell you that date, okay, if we talk about training, then in National Defence Academy, a child has 3 years of training, after that he has one year of separate training, total training is of 4 years, suppose if a child has opted or has got into the army, then for 3 years he will be in National Defence He will undergo training in the academy which is a tri-services training in which there will be cadets from all three - Army, Navy and Air Force, who will be trained according to their services, after that he will go for one year, as per his services, suppose if he is Army then he will undergo training in NDA for 3 years and suppose he will go to IM for one year. If it is the Air Force, then he will go to NDA for 3 years and then he will go to AFA for one year. If it is the Navy, then he will go to NDA for 3 years, and then he will go to IANA for one year. And after 4 years of training, he will be commissioned.

Only when he is commissioned will he become a Guest Officer A Grade Officer. In India, the salary is higher than this. By the way, the NDA student does not take it as a job because defence is a passion, but still, if I tell you the facts, there is no higher salary than this in any other government job, I mean, it is even higher than IAS, IPS, who are civil servants. Because it is obvious that whichever type of Grade A officer you become, it means different things. For example, if you go to the Army, then the first rank in the Army at which you will be commissioned is called Lieutenant. Many people must have heard about this. If you become a Lieutenant, then Lieutenant is this post. If you go to the Air Force, then the parallel post is Flying Officer. If you go to the Navy, then it is called a Sub Lieutenant. All three are the same; all three mean just that. The names of the posts are different but they are the same. You will keep moving ahead in your promotions and the service is a minimum of up to 54 years, the rest depends on your performance and you can also go up to 60 years. So I tried to give complete information about the National Defence Academy exam. If you want to know more about it, you can leave comments. I hope that everything is clear to you, from the syllabus to eligibility. I have tried to make everything clear to the children. Many people do not have guidance.
