2. Why You Might Choose DITM for Engineering

● The crowd is mostly from Haryana and nearby cities - student environment is okay
● There's a functioning placement cell, and you'll find basic campus amenities like labs, Wi-Fi, library, and hostels

Maharaja Surajmal Institute Of Technology
Maharaja Surajmal Institute Of Technology

About :

Maharaja Surajmal is a college.  Whose highest package goes in crores, but still, it is underrated. Who does not know that this is a top college in Delhi?  Where the average placement is better than many nits still, many students doubt whether Surajmal should be kept in the list.

Maharaja Surajmal was a Hindu Jat king. In his memory, this institute was founded in 2001.

This is a private college,  which comes under GGSIPU  and is considered to be the top college of Delhi.  It is an AICTE-approved and has a grade of NAAC. Their campus is not very huge, it is only 8 acres, but is well maintained and they have got nrf rank between 150 to 200, and yes, it is a JAT college. It is a minority college, with a total fee for B.Tech. Here will be around 6 lakhs, and the hostel fee is around 51000 per year. Many types of scholarships are provided here, like the Saksham scholarship scheme, the Pragati scholarship for girls, and the EWS scheme merit cum means scholarship for ST, sc, and OBC categories.

Admission & Eligibility :

For eligibility, you should have around 80% Marks in 12th and the entrance exam.  Here is jee and ipu set and yes ipu set is only accepted for lateral entry otherwise if you want to take admission in normal btech you will have to come through jee only and yes here the management quota seats are 10 so the fee will also be a little higher here now see the previous cut off of msit in these seats the placement rate of maharaja surajmal in 2023 was 95 in which a total of 721 offers were received the students got the highest placement of 80 lpa the average placement was 10 lpa and the highest package in 2022 was 1.7 crore yes and companies with top profiles visit here now i will tell you the data of some top company wise placements that means the top companies that came how many placements were given al8 app cred 52 app microsoft. In.

Facilities :

Hostel preference is first given to the students from outside delhi but half of the campus has only sports facilities which means the college tries to give its best in whatever resources it has it's good overall this is the best college in delhi and sir if you have csc here based on your score then you should definitely consider it but everything is not good here there are many problems. The first point is that their campus is very small and this is a college, but why will the school vibe come because there is a lot of strictness here you cannot roam around freely in the campus, and most importantly, your attendance should be 75 %. Otherwise, you will not be allowed in the exam, and extracurricular activities are also not conducted here much the food in the hostel mess is also very averag,e and the canteen also needs to be improved and the most important thing that i think should be told is that their infrastructure has also become very old which needs to be modernized.

You will get many major specializations i will name a few it ec csc the ground is small friend but in this the college tries to give its best and is expanding many other facilities related to sports so it's great now i will name some indoor and outdoor games which are available here football ground volleyball court badminton court cricket ground table tennis apart from that the college organizes a lot of tournaments here which is a very good thing.
